Stock photography Usage Guidelines:

(1)  If you want to use our photos commercially, you are required to pay our Stock Photography Fee as listed. If you use our photos without © Copyright permission, we will invoice you three times to the posted rate. If you refuse to pay (of which no one has so far) you will be subject to a $25,000.00 fine per photo under international law, plus punitive damages. If you feel that our photos are worth using to enhance your business, than our photos are worth paying for.

(2) You may not print our images for commercial use that includes hanging them is a commercial location. You may not copy our images via oil paintings, pastels or in any form or fashion without written permission.

(3) However, you may use our photo samples only on non-commercial websites as long as,
(a) You in no way you or anyone else stands to make money directly or indirectly.
(b) You provide a visible, clickable link back to www.RoneyPhotography.com or www.VirginiasBestKeptSecret.com
(c) Otherwise you will be invoiced and or prosecuted for © Copyright violation per photo. 

(4) When in doubt about our © Copyright, simply contact us as many people contact each month.  Please Note: Photos taken after 1987 do not require the © Copyright symbol on the photograph to be legally copyrighted, as © Copyright is now automatically given to the photographer unless he has signed a special work for hire contract that states the photographer retains no rights to the photographs.

Please Note: Since we offer exclusive rights to some of our stock photography, some photos may not be available for a specific amount of time, and or may not be available for use in your industry until the exclusive license of a given photo expires. Standards stock photography fees do not reflect exclusivity fee. Unless otherwise stated, you may not sell or resell any photographs that James Roney Photography, LLC has taken for you as we reserve all rights.

We spider the web for  Copyright^© violators of our photography. We catch about 50 photographic violations a year. Considered yourself warned and informed. You will be invoiced first. If after 90 days you have failed to pay or dispute such charges, legal steps will follow. Our photography is our livelihood and is little to no difference from shop lifting when someone steels our photos for commercial use.
